MAKE AN EASY PAPER DIAMOND

Choose, download, and print your favorite diamonds. Quick and easy project.

BEFORE YOU START

• Get your diamonds in the free downloads page.

• Use a sturdier paper (at least 160 gsm); We recommend matte photo paper.

• Print at the best quality at which you can set up your printer.

• You can use only scissors to cut, but a craft knife is always faster and more accurate.

• Use only permanent glue or double-sided adhesive tape.

• Note that the fold lines on these models are thin solid white lines (they do not stand out).

Ready?

1 • Print and cut your diamonds. Then score and fold all the thin solid white lines. Apply glue to the largest tab, located at the bottom of the diamond.

2 • Place the large tab under the edge of the opposite end of the diamond, as shown below. Press firmly. When you feel that this tab is securely attached, apply glue to the back of the seven pointed triangular tabs around the top of the diamond (be sure you are applying glue next to the three corners of each tab).

3 • To make it easier, try working on a paper sheet so you can apply glue more comfortably (without risk of gluing your table, for example).

After applying glue to the pointed tabs, carefully place and press each of them on the outside of the corresponding bottom side of the diamond. The tabs replicate the design on which they should be applied so you know you are doing a good work if the newly attached tab matches seamlessly with the design that surrounds it.

4 • Press the corners of the pointed tabs firmly, making sure that the point next to the bottom of the diamond as well as both the corners next to the top of the diamond are glued securely.
